Braces Friendly Game Day Snacks

It’s that time of year again for football, fun and food! This year the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are heading to Arizona to battle it out in the pro football championship game on February 1, 2015. Get game day ready with these great recipes that are braces friendly and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Seven-Layer Bean Dip

  • 1 Can (16 oz.) Refried Beans
  • 1 Package (1 oz.) Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Package (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 Can (4.5 oz.) Chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 Cup Thick Chunky Salsa (any variety)
  • 2 Cups Shredded Lettuce
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar or Mexican Cheese Blend (8 oz.)
  • 1 Can (2.25 oz.) Sliced Ripe Olives, drained (1/2 cup)
  • 1 Medium Tomato, diced (3/4 cup)

 * Instead of Tortilla chips opt for Ritz Crackers to accompany this dip.

 The Ultimate Stuffed Cheeseburger Sliders

 For The Mini Burger Patties:

  • 2 Pounds 85% Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Large Clove Of Garlic, Finely Minced
  • ¾ Teaspoon Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 Ounces Pepper Jack Cheese, Cut Into ½-Inch Cubes & Chilled

For The Mushrooms:

  • 1 Large Pieces Of Heavy-Duty Aluminum Foil
  • 16 Ounces White Mushrooms, Thickly Sliced
  • 1 Large Clove Garlic, Minced
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Assemble The Sliders:

  • 20 Slider Buns, Such As Small Hawaiian Rolls
  • 3 Large Avocados, Thinly Sliced
  • 3 Ounces Baby Spinach Leaves
